Description

La Falaise et l'Aiguille

This images shows the famous arch at Etretat's coast. After a week of pretty medicore weather I finally was blessed with this impressive sunrise! I am more than glad to capture this scene.

Hello Jan,

Amazing image editing, amazing colours...

The large dark area in the lower right corner something make this image "heavy" ... I understand that the shooting point was at edge of the cliff and it was dangerous to move forward with camera... but IMO this image will be better if you will try to "remove/crop" excessive green dark area on the foreground and try to focus overall composition on the distant objects - cliffs and sky.

To do this, you can use other focal length >= 20 / other lens and make 2 or 4 shots and stitch pano. This will allow you to correctly crop the photo without breaking the overall image composition.

In any way, this is the nice work of excellent photographer... <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/t/t…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="262" title="Thumbs Up"/>
