Description

Lucid Devotion

This is one of the very first shots I made on my recent trip to Ruegen. *WordsOfFarewell and me stood up at 3:00 a.m. to catch the sunrise in Sellin. Actually it was a very nice feeling, being up this early and walking through the empty city. I made a lot of shots on this pier and I guess this one worked out best. It was very hard to get this composition balanced. The balance isn't perfect but I couldn't make it any better. Sadly I didn't know which filter I used for this shot. Anyway, this shot contains of two different exposures. I hope you like it!

Same Island:

Update: Reduced the Magenta cast.
UPDATE INFO: Complete new editing approach. After getting a lot of feedback about the strong color cast inf this shot, I thought of editing it all over again... This ones turned much more ''neutral'' as the old one... Also I centered the whole pier as well as I was able to. (Impossible to get it 100% symmetric)... Futhermore I just used one exposure for this.
